The 2nd Bi-Annual Global Youth Justice Institute will be held in Cape Cod, MA, USA. The 1st Global Youth Justice Institute in Cape Cod in 2010 was filled with full-time and part-time adult staff and other adults who are involved in these teen courts and youth courts in a capacity to include a key volunteer role, administrative role and/or managerial role. Former Youth Court and Teen Court staff and key adult supporters are also certainly most welcome. We have decided to make this a Bi-Annual Event and we will be planning to double the size of our capacity for the 2nd Global Youth Justice Training Institute and Staff Retreat.
In 2010, adults from more than twenty (20) states and Washington, DC attended and it was an excellent event. The 2nd Global Youth Justice Institute in 2012 promises to be even better, and bigger, as Global Youth Justice makes this a Bi-Annual tradition for the adults who champion these juvenile justice and youth justice programs in America and increasingly around the world. Sorry – no youth are allowed. We do allow them at our International Events and Trainings to Establish and Enhance a local Youth Court or Teen Court Juvenile Justice Diversion Program.
The 2013 Theme for the 2nd Global Youth Justice Institute will be “Grants, Resources, Partnerships, Service Connections/Resources, Fund-Raising and Improving your Grant Writing Skills”. Start saving your money and be assured our popular low $195 registration fee including many meals and amenities will NOT be going up and the Oceanside Resort rates will be very affordable once again (Under $109 per night)! Very affordable rates will also be available on the front end and the back end of this Institute – so plan to stay a few extra days – U deserve it! Come join in the tradition that began in 2010 and continues in 2013! It is every other year – U deserve it – so start saving!
Start saving and planning now for 2012, so some of your key adult volunteers and part-time and full-time staff can come – make it a tradition – we are! Former Teen Court and Youth Court part-time and full-time staff and key adult supporters/volunteers are most certainly welcome and encouraged to attend.
