Youth Justice Technical Assistance Bulletin

Training Youth/Adult Volunteers for Improved Results

This Technical Assistance Bulletin focuses on providing quality Training for the Youth and Adult Volunteers involved in local Youth Justice diversion programs commonly referred to as Youth Court, Teen Court, Peer Court, Student Court and Youth Peer Panel.

This twenty (20) page technical assistance bulletin will provide adults with substantive information regarding training the youth and adult volunteers involved in local teen courts, youth courts, peer courts, student courts, and youth peer panel.  The more effective and successful programs are those that provide quality training for volunteers to include the adults and the youth.  If you are implementing or enhancing a local program it is vital to recruit, train, organize, recognize, and retain youth and adult volunteers. This bulletin was funded and published by the Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention (OJJDP) within the United States Department of Justice and the American Bar Association under the direction of Global Youth Justice’s Scott Bernard Peterson.  Click below to download this FREE Technical Assistance Bulletin for Enhancing, Establishing and/or Expanding the Training Component for Adult and Youth Volunteers in local Youth Justice programs referred to as Youth Court, Teen Court, Peer Court, Student Court, and Youth Peer Panel.
